HIGH DEMAND FOR TICKETS

2006-06-29 • For the last couple of days the BDO Hockey World Cup Men 2006 has been a best seller at the office of the DHB ticketing partner Ticket Online (number one of the top ten of events). On June 15th the advance ticket sale for day-tickets had started. After one week 21,000 tickets were sold and has increased to an amount of 30,000 by now.

Els van Breda Vriesman, FIH President"We are very surprised that the finals on September 17, 2006 were sold out within a couple of days", explains Mr. Torsten Bartel member of the DHB board for Marketing & Communication. "We were expecting a good start but this really is beyond all expectation." Mrs. Els van Breda Vriesman, President of the FIH is enthusiastic, too: "I think it is sensational that the BDO World Cup has such a wide acceptance."

Thorsten Bartel, DHB Vorstand Marketing & Kommunikation"That does not mean that all work has been done. Now we have to lay our emphasis on the top matches of the pool rounds; all matches guarantee high performance hockey." according to Mr. Bartel. However, the pool hit Germany agains the Netherlands on Saturday September 9, 2006 is nearly sold out. There is still a sufficient amount of tickets for the pool matches during the week, and one tickets includes minimum three if not four pool matches.
