PARTICIPANTS SCHOOL HOCKEY

2006-08-29 • On Friday and Saturday, 8th and 9th of September, 16 school teams from all of Germany meet on the plant of the Gladbacher HTC for a tournament. It is played in mixed teams, with children at the age of ten to thirteen years. Altogether about 200 participants will try on the Holter Sportstätten to do it like the national players who fight only few 100 meters away.

    Berlin: Wald-Grundschule
    Brandenburg: Evang. Gymn. der Hoffbauer Stiftung Potsdam
    Bremen: Ökumenisches Gymnasium
    Hamburg: Gymnasium Othmarschen
    Hessen: Max-Planck-Schule Rüsselsheim
    Niedersachsen: Martino-Katharineum Braunschweig
    Nordrhein-Westfalen: Mataré Gymnasium Meerbusch
    Nordrhein-Westfalen: Carl-Fuhlrott-Gymnasium, Wuppertal
    Rheinland-Pfalz: Geschw.-Scholl–Gymnasium Ludwigshafen
    Rheinland-Pfalz: W.-Heisenberg-Gymnasium, Bad Dürkheim
    Saarland: Gymnasium am Steinwald Neunkirchen
    Sachsen-Anhalt: Ludwigsgymnasium Köthen
    Schleswig-Holstein: Kieler Gelehrtenschule
    Thüringen: Edith-Stein-Schule Erfurt

But it is not only played hockey: apart from a master program in the GHTC with grill evening and campfire the children will visit the match Germany vs. Netherlands. Afterwards the winner honour takes place at the GHTC. The winner cup will present by Mr. Stephan Abel, president of the Deutscher Hockey-Bund, and Mr. Manfred Palmen, parliamentary secretary of state of the ministry of the Interior North-Rhine/Westphalia.
